Most of the songs are a fair treatment. The music is sometimes an inaccurate transcription of the melody; you'll sometimes play a note that fits the chord of the song; but not what the lead singer sang. Some portions of the song may be left out because they were not sung by anybody. A good example of this is Yellow Submarine. I believe the lyrics says something like "...the band begins to play" followed by a comical, bouncy tune in 6/8 time. This book does not have that part.To play these like The Beatles' sang them, listen to the original and copy their style. Learn to sing the songs with the Beatles, then play the songs out of this book with the same rhythm and notes, which will occasionally be different from this book. Too bad the transcriptions are not in the same key as the originals so you can play along because they were not transcribed for B flat trumpet.

Huge selection from the Beatles catalogue and all tunes are easy to moderate to play. So far I've been enjoying this book.

Has some variations to original songs, but they are easy to play as far as range and the 'keys' they are written in. There are a lot of songs in this booklet.

There is a large range of skill levels so you can grow into the book...That being said it is designed for beginner / intermediate players...I have the trombone version so I can play tunes with my Granddaughter...

Grandson loved this! He is 11 and just starting his 3rd year of trombone. It arrived on time and in super condition.
