I have a trip planned to Sicily this summer and was looking for a different kind of guide and found exactly what I was looking for in Alex Pitt's Sicily Travel Guide. I know where to stay, what to look at and most importantly what to eat. I especially enjoyed the food explanation at the end and the suggestion of wineries to go wine tasting. Really looking forward to this trip, even more so now after getting great insight from this guide.
For people who haven't traveled to many places, it can be a bit nerve wrecking deciding between plans, activities, etc. This book does a good job of providing useful ideas about traveling to Sicily, one of the most beautiful places in the world. With this guide, you should have no trouble deciding on whether this is the right place for you and all the great ways to spend your time there.
I liked this travel guide, there are a lot of useful info that you can use by tarveling Sicily.
Really quite useless are a travel resource. The 62 pages would become 22 if it utilized a standard size font. Very unorganized. Lacking depth and detail. Pictures are of poor quality and have no heading or caption. The positive reviews must have been written by family and friends.
Minimal information. More like reading about his vacation then anything remotely useful if planning a trip.
waste of time
I'm incredibly disappointed with this "book". It's not even a book - really more like a pamphlet. Seriously looks and feels as if someone printed this themselves. Doesn't even have a spine. Hardly any information and the print is so large the guide would've been half the size if printed at a normal scale! I can find better guides online for free. Don't wast your money on this! No idea how this has a 4 star rating.
Overall good read, especially food section. Kindle unlimited kept bumping me off, very annoying, couldnt finish book before demanding review!
