Nice thick paper . No bleed through onto the next page when using markers. Nice variety of kaleidoscope designs. Some of the designs do not line up correctly and are not consistent in pattern. It’s not off by a lot, just a little here and there so it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. This is called something in textile design but I can’t think of it. Maybe pattern repeat? I give 4.5 stars.
I also have the Zen Garden book, but the Kaleidoscope is my favorite. The recurring patterns really calms me down. And the quality of the books is great, each page is thick paper and perforated for easy removal to avoid bleeding though.

I love all of the Peter Pauper Press coloring books I have purchased. I have 6 and am very impressed with the high quality of the paper and images. I think they are a great buy at this price. This book is my favorite. However many of the designs are complex and dense with detail. If you like simpler, easier to color designs I suggest the Serenity or the Believe books.
I really like the designs and am having a good time coloring. The paper is a good quality and the designs are challenging enough to keep me entertained. Coloring is great stress management.If you like detailed coloring books this one fits the bill.
I really like the weight of the paper- very few if any mediums bleed through. At first the designs were overwhelming but I’ve learned to keep going back & after a few days I started seeing patterns & now they’re fun! Helping me in my quest to “see what I’m seeing “ , so thank you!!

No, the designs don't look like a kaleidoscope, but do remind you of a kaleidoscope. Nicely complicated and intricate, some full page and a few mandala like. The paper is very good quality, no bleeding and felt-tip dries almost immediately so no smudges. The colors come out true and bright, not dull and dark.
