We bought this book for our 6 year old son for Christmas, along with an anatomically correct set of magnetic body with pieces for male and female skeletal, muscular and internal organ sets. He isn't proficient at reading yet, but has looked at the book cover to cover and it has sparked several conversations. I took some time one morning to peruse it and ended up reading it nearly in its entirety. It may be a "kid's" book, but it contains plenty of details to make it interesting for an adult as well. I've even caught our 4 year old looking through it.
It's just a big coloring book. I thought it would have some nice pictures of the body and bones, but it just has large coloring pages of bones and people. One page of sort of 3D stickers. It's an awkward size to read at night. It's really for coloring. If that's what you're looking for than this is it.
Purchased as a gift for my son's 5th birthday. Very in depth and will last us years as right now I am summarizing the info for my son to understand but eventually he will be able to read and comprehend on his own. Great visuals.

Great book, arrived on time, and I have found that all the discovery kids books are great. I use it to read with my grandkids, and I am learning lots as well.
My 5 year old loves this book. She asks me to read and learn a chapter every night. She has always loved anatomy, and would watch me do my homework. She wants to be a doctor, and just loves learning about the human body. The pictures are great, and although it's above her age range, when I add explanations, she completely gets it!
