This poorly-produced guide contains nothing more than a quick run-down of a few gay-friendly places in each town - information you can easily Google. The 'reviews' such as they are read like the publicity flyers for the venues. The 'top' and 'bottom' reviews are childish one-paragraph mentions at the end of each city listing, containing no real information, just a vague perception from the authors, like "New York is just a menu of different cultures". The book is VERY short - running to less than 100 pages. They list just two hotels and two other venues in New Orleans - one of the gayest cities in the USA. New York doesn't fare much better, with listings for only three hotels, three restaurants, and three bars - that's just bizarre. And in their listings for Florida, they didn't even make it to Key West!!!Save your money for a couple of beers at your favorite gay club. Nothing useful here - just move on.
This is not a guidebook. It's basically a pamphlet with a few questionable facts about gay places in selected cities. Don't waste your time or money.
